How 5.5 GB was arrived at
2 GB covers the stack at rest, every container the project ships included. 250 users at 10 MB each adds 2.4 GB, giving 4.4 GB. Adding 25% headroom so the machine is not run at its ceiling gives 5.5 GB, and the smallest plan at or above that is the Basic 8 GiB with 8 GB.
Disk works the same way: 15 GB to begin with, plus 0.3 GB per user, so 90 GB against the 160 GB the plan includes.
PostgreSQL and Redis, with local disk for attachments by default. Closest to Confluence's page-tree model of the current crop.
